HCLTech Secures $1.14 Billion Contract from Mercedes-Benz
HCLTech announced on July 3 that it has secured a $1.14 billion strategic contract from Mercedes-Benz, a Europe-headquartered Fortune Global 50 company, to transform its digital workplace and enterprise network operations using an artificial intelligence-driven operating model. This marks one of the largest deal announcements by an Indian IT services company this year.
The agreement will run from July 2026 through December 2031, with an option to extend it by another five years. According to sources, the contract is expected to generate over $200 million in revenue each year for HCLTech.
The contract has an estimated value of $1.14 billion during its initial term and is entirely net new business for HCLTech. Under the partnership, HCLTech will establish an AI-driven operating model to transform and manage the client's global digital workplace and enterprise networks.
