Chinese Factory Deploys Humanoid Robots for Record-Breaking Tablet Inspection Run
AgiBot Completes World's First Multi-Day Livestream of Humanoid Robots in Factory Setting
Chinese robotics company AgiBot has successfully completed a groundbreaking six-day livestream of its humanoid robots working on a real factory production line. The trial, which took place at a Longcheer Technology factory in Nanchang, showcased the capabilities of AgiBot's G2 robots in a real-world manufacturing environment. Over 64 hours, the robots helped inspect and process 17,625 tablet devices while achieving a remarkable 99.99 per cent task success rate.
The livestream was designed to demonstrate how humanoid robots perform in a dynamic manufacturing environment, rather than a controlled laboratory setting. During the trial, several G2 robots operated across multiple production workflows, completing a total of individual tasks. This unprecedented demonstration offered a transparent view of the challenges involved in deploying embodied AI systems in industrial settings.
