Riyadh Air Launches Daily Direct Flights from Riyadh to Mumbai
Riyadh Air, a Saudi Arabia-based premium carrier backed by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), has announced its entry into India with the launch of a daily direct flight between Riyadh and Mumbai. The new daily air service will begin on August 4, with bookings opening on July 6.
The flight will be operated by a Boeing B787-9 aircraft, offering a four-class configuration consisting of business elite, business, premium economy, and economy. This addition is a key part of Riyadh Air's growing network, which now spans nine destinations, with more set to be announced in the coming days and weeks. The airline aims to connect its flight network to over 100 destinations globally by 2030.
The launch of the Mumbai-Riyadh route is a significant development, given India's status as one of the fastest-growing aviation markets globally. This first flight from India demonstrates Riyadh Air's commitment to one of the world's largest and fastest-growing aviation markets.
