Employee's Journey from Customer Feedback Calls to Video Editor Goes Viral
A remarkable story of growth and self-improvement has captured the hearts of social media users, with many praising the determination and perseverance of an employee who transformed from handling customer feedback calls to becoming a video editor.
The story was shared on X by Striver, the founder of takeUforward, who highlighted the employee's journey within the company. According to the founder, the employee, who hails from a small village in Odisha, joined the organisation in a role that involved collecting feedback from users. Over the past 15 months, the employee reportedly made more than 10,000 feedback calls on his own, interacting directly with users and helping the company gather insights.
During this period, the employee also worked on improving his communication skills. The founder said the employee developed a habit of reading English newspapers every morning and consistently looked for ways to become better at his job. In his spare time, he began teaching himself video editing, building a new skill set while continuing his regular responsibilities. When a vacancy for a video editor opened up within the company, he applied for the position and successfully made the switch.
