Indian equities saw a surge in buying activity on July 6, with domestic institutional investors (DIIs) and foreign institutional investors (FIIs/FPIs) turning net buyers. According to provisional exchange data, DIIs purchased shares worth Rs 3,791.42 crore, while FIIs/FPIs infused Rs 243.03 crore.
Market Activity
During the session, DIIs bought shares worth Rs 19,727.56 crore and sold equities worth Rs 15,936.14 crore, resulting in a net inflow of Rs 3,791.42 crore. FIIs, on the other hand, purchased shares worth Rs 11,686.10 crore and sold shares amounting to Rs 11,443.07 crore, leading to a net inflow of Rs 243.03 crore.
