TV brands including LG and SPPL, the exclusive brand licensee for Kodak, Thomson, Blaupunkt, and Westinghouse televisions in India, have recorded a strong jump in sales during the ongoing quarter. For South Korean electronics giant LG, the FIFA season has helped accelerate growth in its television business. LG's sales have been driven by an increasing demand for large-screen TVs, with the company witnessing two times growth in this segment during sporting events.
