
Indian Cricket Star Shreyas Iyer Leases Worli Residence for Rs 7.14 Crore Over 36 Months
Luxury Rental Market in Mumbai's Worli Continues to Attract High-Profile Individuals
Indian cricketer and T20 Captain Shreyas Iyer has leased a luxury residential apartment in Mumbai's upscale Worli locality for a total rental commitment of about Rs 7.14 crore over three years, according to property registration documents accessed by real estate platform Square Yards.
The lease agreement, registered in June 2026, involves a residential unit in Artesia, one of the premium residential developments in the area. The apartment spans approximately 360 square metres (3,875 square feet) and comes with four dedicated parking spaces, the documents showed.
The monthly rent has been fixed at Rs 18.5 lakh for the first year, Rs 19.79 lakh per month in the second year (a 7% increase), and Rs 21.18 lakh per month in the third year. The transaction attracted a stamp duty payment of Rs 1.84 lakh and registration charges of Rs 1,000. Iyer has also paid a security deposit of Rs 74 lakh.
