Indian Beauty Retailer Nykaa Sees 30% Q1 Revenue Growth on Resurgence of Fashion Segment
Nykaa Parent Company Expects 30% Net Sales Growth in Q1FY27
Bengaluru: FSN E-Commerce Ventures Ltd, the parent company of beauty e-tailer Nykaa, anticipates a 30% growth in net sales for the April-June quarter (Q1FY27). This projection is driven by the consistent performance of the beauty segment and a rebound in the fashion business.
According to a stock exchange filing, the company expects both consolidated gross merchandise value (GMV) and net sales value (NSV) to grow in the "early thirties percent range" in Q1FY27, compared to the same period last year. GMV represents the total value of goods sold before any returns or discounts are subtracted, while NSV is the value left after accounting for returns, taxes, and discounts, providing a more accurate picture of actual sales.
