Smallcap World Fund Inc Acquires Additional Stake in Shaily Engineering Plastics
Smallcap World Fund Inc, a mutual fund owned by Capital Group, has acquired an additional 2.04% stake in Shaily Engineering Plastics, a precision plastic components maker, through open market transactions on March 12.
The fund acquired 2.98 lakh shares at Rs 1,878.41 per share and 6.43 lakh shares at Rs 1,879 per share, totaling Rs 176.88 crore. This acquisition brings the fund's total stake in Shaily Engineering Plastics to 7.13%.
Shaily Engineering Plastics shares ended 0.15% higher at Rs 1,911.4 on the National Stock Exchange, amidst high volumes.

Block Deal in Kaynes Technology India
BofA Securities Europe SA purchased 1.16 lakh shares (equivalent to 0.17% of paid-up equity) in Kaynes Technology India, an IoT solutions-enabled integrated electronics manufacturer, at Rs 3,614.4 per share, valued at Rs 41.95 crore.
Sellers in the block deal included Kadensa Master Fund and Bluepearl Map I LP, which offloaded 46,934 shares and 69,148 shares, respectively, at the same price.

- Filatex Fashions ended at an all-time closing low of Rs 0.18, down 5.26%, following the sale of 4.58 crore shares (0.55% stake) by Prabhat Sethia at Rs 0.19 per share, totaling Rs 87.2 lakh.
