
Indian Firms Zoho and Sahasra Showcase Products, Explore Partnerships at Taiwan Tech Trade Event
Indian Companies Emerge Strong at COMPUTEX 2026 in Taipei
A major technology trade event in Taipei this week saw significant participation from Indian buyers and companies, including Sahasra Electronics and Zoho Corporation, seeking to attract customers and partnerships in overseas markets. The event, COMPUTEX 2026, featured a record 6,000 booths from 1,500 exhibitors representing 33 countries.
Sahasra Electronics, part of the Sahasra Group, showcased its microSD cards at the event, receiving encouraging responses from customers from different markets. The company is exploring new partnerships, technology collaborations, and potential joint ventures. Sahasra's strategic account manager, Ankur Dwivedi, noted that the company has customers in China, the US, Europe, and the UK, and is getting very good responses from customers at the event.
Zoho Corporation, a cloud-based business software and software-as-a-service applications provider, said Taiwan was emerging as an important market for the company. Zoho's market lead for Hong Kong, South Korea, and Taiwan, Eng Kit Goh, stated that businesses in the region are increasingly engaging with the company's products. The company attributed India's growing reputation in software development and technology services to building trust among customers in Taiwan.

Organisers of the event expressed hope for greater participation from Indian companies in future editions, as technology cooperation between India and Taiwan continues to expand. The Taiwan External Trade Development Council Chairman, James C F Huang, extended a warm invitation to India's vibrant tech industry, encouraging stronger participation as the show continues to grow into one of the world's most influential platforms for AI and technology innovation.

Apart from exhibitors, Indian buyers were also present at the event in large numbers, looking for new products and business opportunities. Abhishek Jain, a technology company representative, noted that COMPUTEX remained an important platform for networking and identifying products for the Indian market. He expressed optimism that Indian participation could grow further as the country's electronics manufacturing ecosystem develops.
The event concluded on Friday, attracting 111,312 buyers and visitors from 152 countries and regions. Companies such as Nvidia, Intel, Marvell, and Qualcomm unveiled major products and initiatives during the exhibition, with most of these firms already having a significant presence in India.
