Akasa Air Expands International Network with Launch of Hanoi Flights

Akasa Air has announced Hanoi, the capital of Vietnam, as the seventh international destination in its network. The launch marks Akasa's strategic expansion into Southeast Asia, further solidifying its position in the global aviation market.

From September 4, 2026, Akasa will fly four weekly non-stop flights between Mumbai and Hanoi, boosting travel demand and strengthening economic and cultural ties between the two countries. This development is expected to cater to the growing interest of Indian travelers in exploring the rich heritage, unique architecture, and renowned cuisine of Hanoi.

In recent years, Hanoi has become a popular destination for Indian travelers, with its accessibility, vibrant tourism offerings, and rich cultural heritage emerging as key attractions. The launch of direct flights to Hanoi will now provide travelers with a more convenient and seamless way to explore this dynamic global destination.

Anand Srinivasan, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer of Akasa Air, stated that the launch of direct flights to Hanoi strengthens the airline's presence in South Asia and marks another step in its effort to build a network that connects India with dynamic global destinations.

The bookings for flights are now open on Akasa Air's website, Android and iOS app, and through multiple leading OTAs, providing travelers with a range of options to book their tickets.
