Abu Dhabi Investment Authority-Owned Trust Sells Stake in Lenskart Solutions
On June 11, Platinum Jasmine A 2018 Trust, owned by Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, sold a 2.3 percent equity stake in Lenskart Solutions, the eyewear company, for Rs 1,900 crore through open market transactions.
As of March 2026, Platinum Jasmine A 2018 held a 12.08 percent stake in Lenskart, making it the second largest public shareholder in the company after Softbank. The block deals data revealed that Platinum Jasmine A 2018 offloaded 4 crore equity shares of the eyewear company at Rs 490 per share.
The sale saw a total of 19 global and domestic investors participating as buyers, with Kotak Mahindra Asset Management emerging as the largest buyer. The company purchased 1.27 crore shares (0.7 percent stake) for Rs 626 crore.
