Civil Services Examination 2025 Results

Key Highlights

958 candidates qualified for the civil services examination, with 659 men and 299 women making the cut.
Anuj Agnihotri topped the examination with 1,071 marks, securing a percentage of 52.88.
The merit is determined out of a total of 2,025 marks, with the written exam accounting for 1,750 marks and the interview for 275 marks.

Examination Details

The civil services examination is conducted annually by the UPSC in three stages: preliminary, main, and personality test (or interview).
The examination is used to select officers for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and Indian Police Service (IPS), among others.
A total of 9,37,876 candidates applied for the examination, with 5,76,793 appearing in the test.
14,161 candidates qualified for the written examination, and 2,736 candidates qualified for the personality test (interview).
