The Cheesecake Factory Bakery, the global bakery division of The Cheesecake Factory, has marked its entry into India's premium dessert and café market with the opening of its first outlet in Bengaluru through a partnership with The Gourmet Cafe. This move positions the brand to tap the rising demand for premium dessert formats among urban consumers in the country.

India Business Targets Rs 200-250 Crore in Revenues

The India business, operated by The Gourmet Cafe, aims to achieve revenues of Rs 200-250 crore over the next five years as the brand scales nationally. This growth plan is part of the company's expansion roadmap, which includes launching 55 outlets across India over the next four to five years.

Expansion Roadmap

The company plans to add three to six more outlets in Bengaluru during 2026 before expanding into major metropolitan markets, including Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Hyderabad, and Ahmedabad. The brand also intends to enter emerging cities such as Chandigarh, Kochi, and Coimbatore over time. The Gourmet Cafe has already signed agreements with four malls to open six stores this year across key consumption centres.
