Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has taken measures to ensure the safety of its employees in the Middle East region. The company has asked its associates to stay indoors and has suspended all incoming and outgoing business travel to and from the region, including transit, due to flight disruptions caused by escalating geopolitical tensions.
According to an internal advisory, all associates have been advised to avoid non-essential travel and strictly follow guidance issued by local authorities. TCS has also activated a call tree service to contact stranded employees in the impacted and bordering regions on priority. The company's country leadership and human resources teams are closely monitoring the safety and well-being of its associates and their families.
TCS has a significant presence in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, with over 9,110 employees serving over 150 clients across 11 industries. The company is coordinating closely with local authorities and the Indian Embassies to track developments and provide timely updates as the situation evolves.
