
TCS CEO Says Middle East Conflict Has No Direct Business Impact on the Company
Tata Consultancy Services Reports Robust Q4FY26 Earnings, Undeterred by West Asia War
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) CEO and Managing Director K Krithivasan has assured that the IT services giant is not facing any direct impact from the ongoing war in West Asia. Speaking at the company's Q4FY26 earnings conference on April 9, Krithivasan stated that while the geopolitical situation has had a limited impact on the Middle East, primarily affecting the travel and transportation industry, the company has not seen significant disruptions in other sectors.
The company's management has maintained close contact with employees and their families stationed in West Asia, providing necessary support during these challenging times. CHRO Sudeep Kunnumal expressed gratitude to the employees and their families for their dedication and resilience.
TCS's financial performance for the fiscal fourth quarter was robust, with a consolidated net profit of Rs 13,718 crore, a 29 percent increase from the previous quarter. This figure aligns with the CNBC TV18 poll estimate of Rs 13,727 crore. Revenue from operations rose 5.4 percent quarter-on-quarter to Rs 70,698 crore, surpassing the poll estimate of 3.4 percent growth.

For the full year FY26, TCS reported revenue of Rs 2.67 lakh crore, a 4.6 percent year-on-year increase. The company's operating margin improved to 25 percent, and net margin reached 19.8 percent, both the highest levels in the last four years. The total contract value (TCV) for Q4 stood at $12 billion, while the full-year order book was approximately $40.7 billion. Notably, TCS secured five mega deal wins in FY26.
