Blue Cloud Softech Announces Acquisition of Global Impex Inc.
Blue Cloud Softech, a smallcap IT firm, faced profit booking in trade on Tuesday following the announcement of a fresh acquisition.
Global Impex Inc., a company owned by ConnectM Technologies Solutions Inc., will be acquired by Blue Cloud Softech through an all-equity swap. The Board of Directors of Blue Cloud Softech approved the proposal at a meeting held on Tuesday.
The acquisition is aimed at strengthening Blue Cloud Softech's Blue Energy platform, which will offer clean energy solutions for various sectors, including data centres, industrial sectors, mobility, electric vehicles, energy storage, software, and data services in India and overseas. Janaki Yarlagadda, Chairman of Blue Cloud Softech, stated that Global Impex brings clean energy and mobility assets along with technology capabilities that will enhance the company's platform.
As a result of the acquisition announcement, shares of Blue Cloud Softech declined 3.89% to Rs 22.01 per share amidst a broader market sell-off.
