Prince Andrew Embroiled in Epstein Files Scandal
The United States Department of Justice has released over 180,000 images from the Epstein Files, including a series of photographs showing Prince Andrew with a redacted individual. The images, reportedly taken in Jeffrey Epstein's New York dining room, depict a man resembling Andrew with his arms around a woman sitting on his lap.
The Epstein Files also include photographs of well-known figures, including Bill Clinton, Bill Gates, Peter Mandelson, and Sarah Ferguson. The files, released in January, contain several pictures of Andrew, including one showing him on all fours, kneeling over a girl and touching her.
Prince Andrew was reportedly close to Jeffrey Epstein and stayed at his home in December 2010. However, files suggest their contact continued after this meeting. Andrew has also faced allegations from Virginia Giuffre, one of Epstein's accusers, who passed away in 2025.

Prince Andrew has been named in the Epstein Files, with emails showing Epstein calling him "The Duke" and proposing a meeting with a 26-year-old Russian woman. Andrew responded that he would be "delighted to see her."
As a result of these allegations, Prince Andrew has lost his royal titles, military roles, and patronages. He is also under investigation for alleged misconduct in public office during his time as a UK trade envoy.
