Larsen & Toubro Shares Rise on Key Land Acquisition in NCR
Shares of Larsen & Toubro (L&T) traded higher on Monday after its real estate subsidiary, L&T Realty Properties Ltd (LTRPL), announced a significant land acquisition in the National Capital Region (NCR).
On the BSE, L&T shares were trading at Rs 4,073.95, up Rs 60 or 1.49%. The acquisition marks L&T Realty's first land purchase in the NCR micro-market and offers an estimated development potential of around 3.6 million square feet.
LTRPL has acquired a 100% stake in International Green Scapes Ltd (IGSL), Delhi, gaining access to 20 acres of land in Gurugram. This transaction is part of L&T Realty's strategy to build a substantial development pipeline through disciplined and proactive land acquisitions and joint development partnerships.

L&T is also in the process of consolidating all its realty businesses under a single entity, subject to regulatory approvals. Once completed, L&T Realty is expected to operate as a unified platform focused on growth opportunities in India's property market.
