KPIT Technologies Founder and Chairman SB (Ravi) Pandit Passes Away
KPIT Technologies, a global leader in software-defined mobility focused on automotive engineering solutions, has announced the passing of its founder and chairman of the board, SB (Ravi) Pandit, on May 8 in Pune.
Pandit built and led several organizations over the last three decades. He was the chairman of Pune-headquartered KPIT Technologies, which has a presence in 15 countries. The company's website highlights his contributions to various institutions, including the Pune International Centre and Janwani, as well as his support for the Centre for Sustainable Development at Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics (GIPE).
Pandit's professional and academic background is equally impressive. He was an alumnus of the Sloan School of Management at MIT, US, and a gold-medalist chartered accountant. He was also a fellow of the Indian National Science Academy (INSA). In addition to his corporate leadership roles, Pandit was the co-author of the award-winning book "Leapfrogging to Pole-Vaulting".

Pandit also chaired Kirtane & Pandit Chartered Accountants (KPCA), one of the largest Indian-origin professional services firms with over 1,200 experts operating in 15 countries.
