Kotak Mutual Fund has announced the appointment of Kalpesh Jain as Fund Manager – Specialised Investment Funds (SIF), according to a recent company release. The launch of SIF products is expected under the Infinity SIF brand name by Kotak AMC.
The introduction of the Specialised Investment Fund category presents a significant opportunity for asset managers to expand beyond traditional mutual fund offerings, said Nilesh Shah, Managing Director of Kotak AMC. The new category offers a clear opportunity to provide differentiated strategies backed by strong investment processes and disciplined risk management.
Kalpesh Jain brings over 18 years of experience in financial markets, with expertise spanning fund management, wealth advisory, and capital markets. Prior to joining Kotak AMC, Jain held positions at Tata AMC and Julius Baer.
