IndiGo Parent Reports Net Loss of Rs 2,536 Crore in Q4FY26
Interglobe Aviation, the parent company of IndiGo, India's largest airline, reported a net loss of Rs 2,536 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2026. The airline's financial performance was impacted by domestic capacity curbs, a declining rupee, and soaring fuel prices.
In comparison to the same period last year, the airline's revenue from operations rose marginally to Rs 22,438 crore in Q4FY26, up from Rs 22,152 crore in Q4FY25.
The airline's net profit for the quarter under review was significantly lower than the net profit of Rs 3,068 crore reported in the year-ago period. This significant decline in net profit highlights the challenges faced by the airline industry in India.
