ICICI Bank Share Price Soars 2.15% After Q4 Results
ICICI Bank's share price rose by as much as 2.15% in Monday's trading session following the banking company's report of an 8.5% year-on-year (YoY) rise in standalone net profit. The stock opened at ₹1,364 apiece today, compared to its previous close of ₹1,346 on Friday. At 9:35 am, the banking stock touched an intraday high of ₹1,376 on the National Stock Exchange (NSE).

ICICI Bank reported a significant increase in its consolidated profit after tax to ₹14,755 crore in Q4FY26, up from ₹13,502 crore in the same quarter last year. The bank's consolidated assets expanded by 10.3% year-on-year to ₹29,14,498 crore as of March 31, 2026, compared to ₹26,42,241 crore a year earlier. ICICI Bank's exchange filing also showed improvements in its gross NPA ratio, which declined to 1.40% as of March 31, 2026, from 1.53% at the end of December 2025 and 1.67% a year ago.

The bank stated that its total capital adequacy ratio stood at 17.18% at the end of the financial year, while the CET-1 ratio was 16.35% after accounting for the proposed dividend. Both ratios are well above the regulatory requirements of 11.70% and 8.20%, respectively. Total deposits grew 11.4% year-on-year and 8.1% sequentially to ₹17,94,625 crore as of March 31, 2026. Meanwhile, total advances rose 15.8% year-on-year and 6% quarter-on-quarter to ₹15,53,893 crore.
Brokerage firm Motilal Oswal has maintained ICICI Bank stock as its 'top buy in the sector' with a target price of ₹1,750, seeing an upside potential up to 30%. The firm expects the bank to rerate gradually, with operating performance holding strong and growth gaining traction. Sugandha Sachdeva, Founder of SS WealthStreet, believes that the stock has rebounded strongly from the ₹1,180 level, forming a firm base on the weekly charts and signaling a positive medium-term outlook.
