Hero MotoCorp Reports Record-Breaking 30% YoY Growth in Net Profit
Hero MotoCorp, the country's largest two-wheeler manufacturer, has reported a 30% year-on-year (y-o-y) growth in standalone net profit at Rs 1,401 crore for the quarter ended March 2026. This significant growth is attributed to a substantial increase in volumes.
The company's revenue from operations rose 29% y-o-y at Rs 12,797 crore in Q4 FY26 from Rs 9,939 crore in Q4 FY25. Hero's EBITDA (earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization) grew 31% y-o-y at Rs 1,856 crore in the quarter under review from Rs 1,416 crore in the same quarter last year.

The net profit and revenue were at a record high for the quarter. Hero's two-wheeler volumes, including motorcycles and scooters, increased 24% y-o-y at 17.14 lakh units in Q4 FY26 from 13.81 lakh units in Q4 FY25.
For the full year, the company reported revenue from operations at Rs 46,830 crore and profit after tax at Rs 5,268 crore. Its operating margin in FY26 stood at 14.7%, reflecting an improvement of 30 basis points y-o-y driven by favorable product mix and cost efficiencies.
The revenue from its part, accessories and merchandising (PAM) business for the year came in at Rs 6,147 crore. Hero declared a final dividend of Rs 75 per equity share.
"Including the interim dividend of Rs 110 per share, the total dividend for FY26 amounts to Rs 185 per equity share, representing a payout of 9,250%," the company said.
The company's growth was broad-based across 100cc-125cc, scooters and premium motorcycle segments, in the core internal combustion engine (ICE) business. Its EV arm, Vida, reported highest-ever annual retail with record a growth of 190% y-o-y.
Hero's global business rose 40% y-o-y in FY26, with the company expanding its footprint to 52 countries with new market entries in Europe and the United Kingdom (UK). The Harley-Davidson business also delivered 26% y-o-y growth in its dispatch volume, driven by the successful launch of H-D X440 T, brand campaigns, and network expansion from over 100 touchpoints in FY25 to 150+ touchpoints in FY26.
