Goldman Sachs Acquires Rs 210 Crore Worth of Shares in Billionbrains Garage Ventures
On June 4, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE, a subsidiary of Goldman Sachs Bank USA, acquired 1.13 crore equity shares (0.18 percent stake) in Billionbrains Garage Ventures, the parent firm of stockbroker Groww, through open market transactions. The acquisition was made from Friale Fund IV LLC, with a transaction price of Rs 185.5 per share, amounting to a total of Rs 210.4 crore.
The acquisition has significant implications for Billionbrains Garage Ventures, as the firm's shares rose 0.67 percent to Rs 190.16 on the National Stock Exchange. The stock has been in a consolidation phase since May 13, trading in a Rs 183-193 range with below average volumes.

Aditya Birla Sunlife Mutual Fund purchased 21.66 lakh shares of Go Digit General Insurance for Rs 65 crore, while JPMorgan (Taiwan) Eastern Technology Fund purchased 11.66 lakh shares for Rs 35 crore. Peak XV Partners Growth Investments III was the seller in this block deal, offloading 33.33 lakh shares (0.36 percent stake) for Rs 100 crore.

Additionally, Kedaara Capital Public Markets Fund I purchased additional 2 lakh shares (0.11 percent) in Inventurus Knowledge Solutions from Scott Hayworth for Rs 33.09 crore at Rs 1,654.9 per share. In the previous session, the two entities exchanged 1.55 lakh shares of Inventurus Knowledge Solutions, a healthcare solutions provider.
OHM Investment Corporation also made a notable purchase, acquiring 3.14 lakh shares (0.51 percent stake) in Panacea Biotec for Rs 15.52 crore at Rs 493.07 per share. The stock was locked in a 20 percent upper circuit at Rs 520.30, witnessing a strong breakout after more than a year of consolidation.
