The video shows a co-pilot, allegedly Rohit Singh, the owner of VSR Ventures, sleeping inside the cockpit while the helicopter is airborne. Jay Pawar claims that this is a shocking and unacceptable breach of safety protocols, particularly when passenger lives are at stake.
Previous Incident
The incident is linked to a fatal crash in Baramati earlier this year, which killed Ajit Pawar, Jay Pawar's father, and four others on board. The crash occurred on January 28 and involved a Learjet 45XR, registered as VT-SSK, which crashed during its second landing attempt.

A preliminary report by the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau pointed to poor visibility and safety lapses as key contributing factors to the crash. The report noted that visibility at the time of landing was around 3 kilometres, significantly below the minimum 5 kilometres required for Visual Flight Rules operations.
Demands for Action
Jay Pawar has called for immediate and strict action by the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, including the grounding of all aircraft operated by VSR Ventures until a full investigation is completed and the arrest of Rohit Singh.
