Zomato Increases Food Delivery Platform Fee
Eternal Ltd's subsidiary, Zomato, has implemented a price hike for its food delivery platform fee, effective immediately. The new fee stands at Rs 14.9 per order, up from Rs 12.5 previously.
This increase represents a 19.2% hike, marking the latest adjustment to the platform's fee structure. Notably, this change comes amidst rising crude prices, which could impact the operations of Zomato-listed restaurants and the company's delivery partners.
The last fee hike was implemented in September 2025. In comparison, Swiggy, Zomato's rival in the food tech space, is currently charging a platform fee of Rs 14.99 per order.
