WazirX Introduces Crypto Futures Trading with Industry-Leading Fee Structure
WazirX Launches Crypto Futures Trading in India with Competitive Fees
WazirX, a leading cryptocurrency exchange in India, has launched crypto Futures trading with significantly lower trading fees compared to other exchanges operating in the country. This move aims to expand access to Futures trading for retail traders, marking a significant step in the platform's growth strategy.
According to WazirX, Futures trading will come with a maker fee of 0.02 per cent and a taker fee of 0.04 per cent, with no minimum trading volume required to access these rates. Moreover, users will be able to trade Futures directly in rupees without first converting funds into USDT. This innovative approach makes WazirX's Futures trading offerings more accessible and appealing to a broader range of users.
The introduction of Futures trading is part of WazirX's efforts to promote responsible trading practices among its users. In this regard, the company has implemented a mandatory knowledge assessment that covers leverage, margin, and liquidation risks, which users must complete before accessing Futures products.

The rollout of WazirX Futures will be carried out in phases, with the pace of implementation depending on liquidity, risk controls, and user readiness. This phased approach will enable WazirX to ensure a smooth and secure trading experience for its users.
