Washington State Investment Board Acquires Stake in Mahanagar Gas

On March 27, the Washington State Investment Board acquired a 0.6% equity stake in Mahanagar Gas through open market transactions. The stake was purchased for Rs 58.7 crore, with the buying price being Rs 950.42 per share.

Mahanagar Gas shares closed 0.17% higher at Rs 940.3 on the BSE, extending the uptrend for the third consecutive session. The natural gas distribution company had hit its lowest level since March 2023.

• Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund acquired 18.02 lakh shares (0.5% stake) in Apollo Micro Systems at Rs 189.58 per share, valued at Rs 34.17 crore.
• HDFC Capital Affordable Real Estate Fund-1 sold 4.58 lakh shares (1% stake) in Arvind SmartSpaces at Rs 509.99 per share, valued at Rs 23.39 crore.
• ASL ESOP Trust bought 4.58 lakh shares in Arvind SmartSpaces at Rs 510 per share, amounting to Rs 23.39 crore.
• Spark Financial Holdings bought 18 lakh units in Cube Highways Trust from Cube Mobility Investments Pte at Rs 146 per unit, valued at Rs 26.28 crore.
