Vinci, a French infrastructure firm, has agreed to purchase a toll highway portfolio in India from Macquarie Asia Infrastructure Fund 2 in a deal valued at approximately ₹150 billion ($1.6 billion).
The acquired portfolio comprises nine concessions for nearly 700 kilometres of highway sections in key areas of India's road network, including a section of the corridor linking Kolkata and Chennai. The deal is expected to have significant potential for value creation, with revenues generated by the toll highways dependent on traffic.
