IndiGo Passenger Complaints of Inoperative Air Conditioning on Flight
A passenger, Jayant Shilanjan Mundhra, recently took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the in-flight experience on a IndiGo flight from Chennai to Bagdogra. The passenger, who has 2.3 lakh followers on Instagram, claimed that the air conditioning on the flight was not working, leading to a hot and uncomfortable environment for the passengers, including his one-year-old child.
According to Mundhra's post, the flight crew acknowledged the issue but stated that it could not be resolved at 15,000 feet. The passenger expressed his frustration with the situation, highlighting that IndiGo's monopoly in the Indian aviation market may be contributing to the airline's lack of accountability.
In response to the complaint, IndiGo apologized for the discomfort experienced by Mundhra and his fellow passengers. The airline stated that it values its customers' comfort and has taken note of the passenger's feedback, sharing it with the concerned team for review and necessary action.
