TCS Faces No Complaints From Employees Who Filed FIRs Over Nashik Incident
Tata Consultancy Services' Response to Sexual Harassment Allegations
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has maintained that it has not received any formal complaints through its Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) channels from the complainants in the Nashik branch sexual harassment cases between 2022 and 2026. In a statement on April 17, TCS CEO and MD K. Krithivasan stated that a preliminary review of the systems and records pertaining to the Nashik unit indicates that no complaints of the alleged nature have been received on either the ethics or POSH channels.

TCS reiterated its commitment to the "highest standards of employee welfare and institutional conduct." The company has a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of coercion or misconduct and is focused on supporting employees and ensuring a safe and respectful workplace across all its locations. TCS is extending full cooperation to law enforcement agencies to investigate the matter thoroughly, transparently, and bring it to a rightful conclusion.

Internal Investigation
The company has onboarded Deloitte and law firm Trilegal as independent counsel to support its internal inquiry in the Nashik case, which is being led by Aarthi Subramanian, President and COO of TCS. A dedicated Oversight Committee, chaired by independent director Keki Mistry, has been formed to receive the investigation's findings and act on any resulting recommendations.
Case Progress
The case first came into light in March when a woman working at TCS' Nashik BPO unit filed a complaint alleging that a colleague had maintained a physical relationship with her by promising marriage. During the investigation, police registered eight more FIRs related to mental and sexual harassment faced between 2022 and 2026, along with inaction by the senior managers. There were also allegations of attempting religious conversion by a few complainants.
