K Krithivasan, the CEO and MD of India's largest software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), earned a total of Rs 28.1 crores in salary for the fiscal year 2026. This represents a 6.3 percent year-on-year increase compared to the previous fiscal year, according to the company's annual report.
Krithivasan's total remuneration for FY26 included Rs 1.67 crores in base salary, Rs 1.43 crores in benefits, perquisites, and allowances, and Rs 25 crores in commission. In contrast, Krithivasan took home Rs 26.52 crores in FY25.
The CEO's salary ratio to the median remuneration of the rest of the employees was 332.8, as per the report. The median remuneration refers to the middle value salaries of all ordered employee payments.

TCS COO Aarthi Subramanian earned a total of Rs 18.33 crores in remuneration for FY26, including Rs 1.5 crores in base salary, Rs 1.83 crores in benefits, perquisites, and allowances, and Rs 15 crores in commissions.
Employee Wage Hikes
TCS has a total headcount of 5,84,519 employees. The percentage increase in the median remuneration of employees in the financial year was 5.1 percent.
The average annual increase for junior and mid-level employees was in the range of 4.5 - 7.0 percent, with top performers receiving double-digit increments in India. However, after accounting for promotions and other event-based compensation revisions, the total increase is in the range of 5.0 - 8.0 percent.

Junior and mid-level employees outside India received a wage increase varying from 1.5 - 6.0 percent. The increase in remuneration is in line with market trends in the respective countries. Additionally, the variable pay is linked to organisation performance and individual utilisation in addition to individual performance.
