PhysicsWallah (PW), a leading edtech company, has reported a significant decline in its net loss for the fourth quarter (Q4) of financial year 2025-26 (FY26). According to regulatory filings, the company's net loss stood at Rs 69.1 crore, a 76 percent year-on-year (YoY) decline compared to Rs 289.3 crore in the same period a year ago. This decrease in net loss comes after the company reported a profit of Rs 102.3 crore in the previous quarter.
For the full year FY26, PhysicsWallah reported a loss of Rs 24.3 crore, a 90 percent decline from Rs 243.3 crore in the previous year. The company's financial performance indicates a significant improvement in its operational efficiency.
In terms of revenue, PhysicsWallah reported a significant increase, with revenue from operations standing at Rs 918 crore, a 51 percent YoY growth from Rs 609.6 crore in the year-ago period. The company's revenue for the full year FY26 stood at Rs 3,899.5 crore, a notable increase from Rs 2,886.6 crore in FY25.

The company's total expenses increased by 9 percent to Rs 1,055.2 crore in the quarter ended March, up from Rs 964 crore a year ago. However, the company's paid users increased to 5.34 million during the year, up from 4.46 million in FY25. Online unique transacting users rose to 4.87 million, while offline enrolments increased to 470,000. The expansion to 353 centres further strengthened PW's hybrid distribution model and improved access across geographies.
On May 27, PhysicsWallah's shares on BSE closed 0.09 percent lower at Rs 111.95 apiece.
