Ola Consumer Sees 42% Drop in FY25 Revenue, Doubles Net Loss to ₹662 Crore
Ola Consumer Reports Sharp Decline in Revenue and Doubling of Losses in FY25
Bhavish Aggarwal-led ride-hailing platform Ola Consumer, formerly known as Ola Cabs, reported a significant decline in revenue and a doubling of losses in the financial year ended March 2025, as competition from rivals intensified in the four-wheeler mobility segment.
According to data sourced from the Registrar of Companies (RoC) by Fintrackr, Ola Consumer's revenue from operations fell by 42 percent to Rs 1,171 crore in FY25, compared to Rs 2,012 crore in the previous fiscal year. The decline comes a year after the company crossed the Rs 2,000 crore revenue mark.
As the company's ride-hailing and financial services businesses took a hit in FY25, Ola's losses doubled to Rs 662 crore from Rs 329 crore in the previous fiscal year. The company's core ride-hailing business remained its largest revenue contributor, accounting for 79 percent of total operating revenue.

| FY24 | 2,012 | 329 |
| FY25 | 1,171 | 662 |
The slowdown in mobility operations was reflected in Ola's spending as well. Driver-related costs, which accounted for nearly 20 percent of total expenditure, fell 34 percent to Rs 401 crore in FY25 from Rs 607 crore in FY24. Employee benefit expenses also declined 39 percent to Rs 205 crore during the year, following a 42 percent reduction in the previous fiscal.
Despite the cost-cutting measures, the company's losses doubled in FY25, highlighting the pressure on Ola Consumer's business as Rapido continues to gain market share in the ride-hailing segment.
