Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik BPO Unit Sexual Harassment Case: Chargesheet Filed Against Four Accused

The Nashik police has filed a 1,500-page chargesheet against the accused in the sexual harassment case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik BPO unit. The chargesheet names the accused as Danish Ijaz Shaikh, Tausif Bilal Attar, Nida Eijaz Khan, and Matin Majid Patel.

The special investigation team (SIT) looking into the allegations has found evidence of forced religious conversion of the victim, hurting religious sentiments. The police also seized original documents taken by the accused to change the victim's name and identity. Digital and technical evidence was also found in the victim's and the accused's phones through WhatsApp chat screenshots.

The primary chargesheet was filed in the Additional Sessions and Special Court, Nashik Road, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.
