
Nashik Police Presents 1500-Page Chargesheet in TCS Sexual Assault Case, Revealing Evidence of Alleged Coercive Religious Conversion
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik BPO Unit Sexual Harassment Case: Chargesheet Filed Against Four Accused
The Nashik police has filed a 1,500-page chargesheet against the accused in the sexual harassment case at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) Nashik BPO unit. The chargesheet names the accused as Danish Ijaz Shaikh, Tausif Bilal Attar, Nida Eijaz Khan, and Matin Majid Patel.
The special investigation team (SIT) looking into the allegations has found evidence of forced religious conversion of the victim, hurting religious sentiments. The police also seized original documents taken by the accused to change the victim's name and identity. Digital and technical evidence was also found in the victim's and the accused's phones through WhatsApp chat screenshots.
The primary chargesheet was filed in the Additional Sessions and Special Court, Nashik Road, under various sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989.

This is the first chargesheet filed following the investigation into the allegations of rape and hurting religious sentiments filed at the Deolali police station in Nashik. There are eight other FIRs filed by TCS employees at the Mumbai Naka police station, which are currently under investigation.
