MuscleBlaze and Cult Fit Collaborate on Trainers and Coaching Initiatives
India's Fitness Industry Shifts Focus from Celebrity Endorsements to Trainers and Coaches
India's fitness industry is undergoing a significant transformation, with a growing emphasis on trainers and coaches rather than celebrity-driven campaigns. This shift is evident in the partnership between MuscleBlaze and Cult fitness chains, which aims to put gym trainers at the forefront of fitness marketing.
Under the arrangement, MuscleBlaze will become the official trainer nutrition kits partner for Cult Fit trainers nationwide, providing monthly nutrition kits designed to support their training, recovery, and daily performance on the gym floor. This partnership reflects a significant change in how fitness companies build influence, recognizing trainers and coaches as the most direct link between brands and consumers.
For most gym members, a trainer is the first person they turn to for advice on supplements, technique, and staying consistent. Despite their influence, trainers have largely been left out of mainstream brand campaigns. MuscleBlaze's partnership with Cult Fit is a departure from the traditional approach of relying on celebrity endorsements to promote sports nutrition products.

The deal extends MuscleBlaze's reach beyond e-commerce into gyms and fitness centres, strengthening its footprint at the grassroots level. For Cult Fit, the partnership provides nutritional backing for the trainers who are central to member retention and the day-to-day experience across its centres.
Kaustuv Paliwal, a key figure at MuscleBlaze, emphasized the importance of supporting trainers with the right nutrition. "At MuscleBlaze, we have always believed that fitness is built on the ground, through coaches, trainers, and everyday people who show up consistently," he said. "Trainers are among the strongest drivers of change in this ecosystem. Supporting them with the right nutrition is a natural extension of what we stand for."
