MMTC-PAMP Unveils Enhanced Digital Gold and Silver Platform with Direct Purchase Capability
Digital Gold and Silver Offerings Revamped by MMTC-PAMP
Precious metals refiner MMTC-PAMP has reintroduced its digital gold and silver offerings, enabling consumers to purchase directly through its revamped website and Android app, in addition to partner platforms such as Google Pay, Paytm, and PhonePe. This move comes after the company suspended direct platform sales in late 2024 to revamp its website for a better user experience.
The service was first launched in 2017 for digital gold and in February 2023 for digital silver, but the direct platform sales were put on hold to revamp the website. The service remained available through third-party payment platforms during the overhaul. MMTC-PAMP relaunched its revamped website in May 2025.
The revamped digital gold and silver offerings allow customers to invest in gold and silver from as little as Rs 10. Each unit is backed by physical metal stored in insured, bank-grade vaults and audited by an independent third party. Holdings are maintained in the customer's name and can be bought, sold, gifted or redeemed at real-time market prices, with proceeds transferred directly to a bank account or converted into physical coins and bars.
