Markets End Week with Marginal Gains Amid Volatility

The Indian stock market witnessed a mixed week, with the combined market valuation of six of the top-10 most valued firms surging by ₹74,111.57 crore. The BSE benchmark climbed 177.36 points, or 0.23 per cent, last week.

The market's performance was driven by persistent rupee weakness, mixed global cues, sectoral rotation, and continued uncertainty around inflation and interest rates. Despite the volatility, the markets ended the week with marginal gains.
