KPI Green Energy, a leading renewable energy company, saw its shares rise nearly 5 percent on Wednesday afternoon, following a strong set of fiscal fourth quarter earnings. The company reported record revenue and its highest-ever year-ended performance, marking its eighth consecutive quarter of record revenue.
The company's stock was trading at Rs 478.5 in afternoon trade, taking its one-year gains to 26.2 percent and pushing the company's market capitalisation above Rs 10,000 crore. The rally in KPI Green shares came after the company reported robust growth across key financial metrics for the January-March quarter.

KPI Green's consolidated revenue for Q4 FY26 rose 40 percent year-on-year to Rs 810 crore from Rs 578 crore in the year-ago quarter. EBITDA surged 80 percent to Rs 305 crore from Rs 169 crore a year earlier, aided by operating leverage, better scale, and cost discipline.

The company's performance was supported by sustained execution across solar, wind, and hybrid renewable energy segments, alongside continued progress in strengthening long-term contracted revenue visibility through IPP projects. Key strategic developments during the quarter included the company securing a Rs 979 crore sanction from Canara Bank for its 150 MW GUVNL wind IPP project in Gujarat.

The financing package includes a Rs 931 crore term loan and a Rs 48 crore bank guarantee facility, backed by 25-year power purchase agreements with GUVNL. The company also said its energised IPP portfolio reached 965 MWp out of a total 2.17 GWp portfolio, with capacity additions across its GUVNL solar and hybrid projects.
Furthermore, KPI Green received inter-state and intra-state electricity trading licences from CERC and GERC, enabling participation in pan-India power markets through exchange-based and bilateral power sales.
