Kotak Mahindra Mutual Fund Imposes Fresh Investment Limit on Overseas Schemes
Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company Ltd has announced a new investment limit for four of its overseas schemes, effective April 30, 2026. As per a notice issued on April 29, fresh investments in these schemes will be capped at Rs 1 lakh per PAN per month.
The cap applies to new lump sum investments, switch-ins, and fresh Systematic Investment Plan (SIP) or Systematic Transfer Plan (STP) registrations. Larger investments will not be accepted. However, investors can still put in up to the monthly limit in each scheme.
The four overseas fund-of-funds schemes affected by this change are:

These schemes invest in global equities and REITs. Transactions submitted before 3 pm on April 29 will be processed at the applicable Net Asset Value (NAV). The cap applies per scheme, not across all four combined.
For existing investors, there is no change. SIP and STP instalments registered earlier will continue as scheduled, under their existing plans/options. The notice is issued as an addendum to the Scheme Information Document (SID), Key Information Memorandum (KIM), and Statement of Additional Information (SAI). The update will be reflected in the scheme documents, and other terms remain unchanged.
