JSW Cement Limited Expands Operations in North India
JSW Cement Limited has marked a key milestone in its expansion into North India with the commissioning of its greenfield integrated cement plant in Nagaur, Rajasthan. This strategic move strengthens the company's presence in high-growth regional markets, particularly in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, and the National Capital Region (NCR).
The Nagaur facility is JSW Cement's first production unit in North India and boasts a significant production capacity, adding to the company's overall operations. The plant features a 3.30 MTPA clinkerisation unit and a 2.50 MTPA cement grinding unit, enhancing JSW Cement's manufacturing capabilities.
The addition of this facility has increased the company's total cement grinding capacity to 24.1 MTPA and its total clinker manufacturing capacity, including its joint venture, to 9.74 MTPA. Furthermore, an additional 1.00 MTPA cement grinding unit is currently under construction at the same site, which will further expand the company's future output capacity.

The ₹800 crore allocated from fresh issue proceeds has been utilized to fund the project, a combination of equity and long-term debt.
