JPMorgan Executive Lorna Hajdini Embroiled in Scandal Over Allegations of Sexual Abuse and Racial Harassment

A former employee of JPMorgan has filed a lawsuit against the bank's senior executive, Lorna Hajdini, alleging months of sexual abuse, racial harassment, and workplace intimidation. The lawsuit, which was first reported by Daily Mail, accuses Hajdini, the Executive Director for Leveraged Finance at JPMorgan, of targeting a junior staff member on multiple occasions.

The allegations against Hajdini include claims of drugging the complainant with Rohypnol and Viagra, coercing him into sex, and threatening to stall his promotions and career advancement if he did not comply. The complainant, who is currently employed as a principal at investment firm Bregal Sagemount, alleges that Hajdini abused her senior position to pressure him into sexual encounters and to ensure compliance with her demands.

According to the lawsuit, one confrontation dates back to May 2024 when the complainant declined an invitation for drinks. The lawsuit also alleges that Hajdini showed up unannounced at the complainant's apartment and coerced him into sex. The complainant referenced another incident in which Hajdini shouted racial slurs while discussing work performance.

Hajdini has denied any wrongdoing, and JPMorgan has also been made a party in the lawsuit. In a statement to The Daily Mail, a JPMorgan spokesperson said, "Following an investigation, we don’t believe there’s any merit to these claims."

The controversy surrounding Hajdini has also led to her past comments on LinkedIn resurfacing. Last year, Hajdini congratulated a fellow colleague on the platform, writing, “You are a force to be reckoned with! Well-deserved recognition.” However, her LinkedIn account has now been deleted amid the scandal, and her Instagram account settings have been changed to private.

A person named Murray Hill Guy on X, shared a tweet claiming that he had messaged Hajdini on LinkedIn and received a response. The message, which was shared as a screenshot, included Hajdini's response, “Please send your resume to email ID [redacted].”
