In response to the escalating tensions in the Middle East, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Partners Group Holding AG have canceled or rescheduled upcoming events in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). The moves come as the region's appeal as a safe haven has been damaged following Iranian attacks on the UAE.
Partners Group Holding AG has relocated its annual global investor gathering from Abu Dhabi to Switzerland, citing the current regional situation. The client AGM will now take place on April 13 and 14 near Zurich.

JPMorgan Chase & Co. has rescheduled its MENA Global Opportunities Conference, an invitation-only event for institutional investors, corporate executives, and financial sponsors, from Dubai on March 30 and 31 to an undetermined date.
The changes follow the cancellation of Token2049, a global crypto conference, which was set to take place in Dubai next month but has been postponed to April 2027.
Partners Group Holding AG plans to relocate its investment team to Abu Dhabi once the current situation has de-escalated. The firm has a significant presence in the Middle East, with a Dubai office established in 2010 and a regional headquarters in Abu Dhabi set up in 2025.
