Green Gene Enviro Protection and Infrastructure Secures Rs 90 Crore in Funding
Green Gene Enviro Protection and Infrastructure (GGEPIL), a leading environmental infrastructure company, announced on Wednesday that it has successfully raised Rs 90 crore from JM Financial Private Equity, SRF family office, and other investors. This significant funding will enable GGEPIL to further its mission of providing sustainable solutions for the collection, treatment, and processing of hazardous waste generated from various manufacturing sectors, including chemicals, pharmaceuticals, agro chemicals, automotive, and more.
The company's innovative approach to converting waste into alternative energy has garnered attention from investors, with JM Financial Private Equity recognizing the substantial long-term potential in GGEPIL. As environmental regulations continue to tighten and demand for responsible waste management rises, GGEPIL is poised to capitalize on this trend.
JM Financial Private Equity's investment in GGEPIL was made through its JM Financial India Growth Fund III, a sector-agnostic fund that has made eight successful bets, including investments in API Holdings, Bighaat Agro, Silveredge Technologies, Energy Beverages, Modish Tractoraurkisan, Asquare Foods and Beverages, and The Bear House. Notably, the company has fully exited from Aarman Solutions. With this latest investment, GGEPIL is well-positioned to continue its growth trajectory and make a meaningful impact in the environmental infrastructure space.
