Vertis Infrastructure Trust Aims to Double Assets Under Management
Vertis Infrastructure Trust, an infrastructure investment trust (InvIT) backed by global investment firm KKR and Ontario Teachers’ Pension Plan, plans to expand its assets under management (AUM) to approximately ₹52,000 crore over the next two years.
The growth strategy is driven by steady secondary acquisitions of operational highway projects, which are expected to be valued at ₹5,000–6,000 crore annually. Joint CEO Zafar Khan has outlined the plan, which aims to capitalize on the trust's existing strengths and capitalize on new investment opportunities in the infrastructure sector.
