HCL Technologies Prepares to Announce Q4 FY26 Earnings

Shares of HCL Technologies traded higher on Tuesday ahead of the company's Q4 FY26 earnings announcement later in the day.

As per the latest NSE data, the stock was up 0.22% at Rs 1,431.20 in Tuesday morning trade. The company is expected to post a mixed March quarter performance, with healthy annual growth but softer quarter-on-quarter numbers.

Consensus estimates from seven brokerages indicate revenue may increase around 14% year-on-year, while profit after tax is projected to rise about 9%. However, on a sequential basis, analysts expect constant currency revenue to decline between 0.8% and 1.7%.

The moderation is largely linked to seasonality in the software segment, which typically sees weakness in the March quarter after a stronger December period. Analysts expect software revenue to fall about 22%-23% sequentially.

The company's core services business, however, is likely to remain stable. Brokerages estimate 1%-1.5% sequential growth in IT services and ER&D, supported by deal execution and demand from BFSI and high-tech clients.

Margins may remain under pressure because of annual wage revisions, restructuring expenses and weakness in the software business. The results also come after softer earnings reported by peer Wipro.
