Godrej Industries Group Launches Wealth Management Business with Ambitious Growth Plans
Godrej Industries Group, a leading business conglomerate, announced the launch of Godrej Wealth, its wealth management business, with a target of building Rs 1 lakh crore in assets under management (AUM) by 2031. The platform aims to cater to affluent and high-net-worth individuals through a trust-led and technology-enabled model.
Godrej Wealth will operate alongside Godrej Capital, the group's lending business, as part of its financial services arm. The business will primarily focus on clients with investable assets of Rs 2 crore and above, including entrepreneurs, business families, NRIs, and sophisticated investors. Services will span wealth management, succession and legacy planning, private market access, global investment opportunities, and portfolio structuring.
The company plans to expand its presence to 35 locations over the next five years. This ambitious growth plan underscores the group's commitment to catering to the evolving financial needs of its clients. As India's wealth base deepens, there is a growing need for institutions that can provide long-term stewardship across generations.
