A devastating fire accident occurred at the Tech Mahindra campus inside ELCOT SEZ, Karapakkam near Sholinganallur in Chennai on May 15. According to sources, the massive fire broke out in a warehouse of the IT services major's campus, fortunately, no injuries were reported at the location.
The incident led to the safe evacuation of all employees at the campus. Following the accident, the entire area of Sholinganallur witnessed thick dense smoke coming from the campus, prompting the evacuation of roads at the location.
A Tech Mahindra spokesperson confirmed the fire accident at the Chennai warehouse facility. The situation was promptly contained through effective collaboration with local authorities and emergency teams. All employees and onsite personnel are safe.
