Benchmark Indices to Undergo Reconstitution on June 22, 2026
BSE Index Services has announced the latest reconstitution of several benchmark indices, including the BSE 100, BSE Sensex 50, and BSE Sensex Next 50. The changes, aimed at ensuring the accuracy of market trends, liquidity, and free-float market capitalization of listed companies, will take effect from June 22, 2026.
Key Inclusions and Exclusions in BSE 100 and Sensex Indices
The reconstitution saw several key changes in the BSE 100 and Sensex indices. Ashok Leyland, One97 Communications, and CG Power and Industrial Solutions will be added to the BSE 100 index, replacing Ambuja Cements, Tube Investments of India, and Colgate-Palmolive India, respectively. In the BSE Sensex 50 index, TVS Motor Company will be added, while Adani Enterprises will move out of the index.
